Work Zone Crashes:
This week I want to discuss work zone crashes, in 2024 Ohio State Highway Patrol reports 2,473 crashes with 35% of workers present. Most crashes occur Monday-Friday, 6am-6pm, with heavier reports of 3pm-4pm and as you may guess its people in a hurry to get home. With this information I hope it reminds us of just how important it is to follow standards and guidelines along with staying alert.
Unapproved Driving/Speeding:
A friendly reminder from the Fleet Manager, we need to make sure we are only using our trucks during scheduled hours. All unapproved driving unless instructed otherwise by the Fleet Manager himself can be met with the loss of your truck privileges. Last, we need to make sure we are abiding by all traffic laws.
